Capital subsidy scheme for construction of rural godown and silo has been extended till 30th of September 2022.

• Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Govt. of India has approved the continuation of Agricultural Marketing Infrastructure (AMI) Scheme.

• The scheme is popularly known as godown subsidy scheme and it is implemented through NABARD.

• An enterprise can claim Capital subsidy for construction of rural godown and silo for storage of agricultural products.

• The last date of submission of application has been extended till 30^th September 2022
